Wow! Alot has been going on. I've learned so much.

1. I successfully downgrading my Mac Pro from High Sierra to Sierra. How? I can't really reproduce what I did but it was a success because I'm now able to use CS6 and other applications. With the downgrade I've had no issues with crashes or freezing of my computer. Hurray! It's such a blessing to have my computer running better than before. I've successfully created Motion 5.4 files and use Logic Pro 10.3.3 without any glitches. In addition I've been running Final Cut Pro 10.4 super smoothly. Whereas when using High Sierra, I constantly had to reboot  as my work station would constantly freeze. Moral of the story: Don't install High Sierra. It's equivalent to Windows Vista.

2. I've also installed DaVinci Resolve 14 on my Mac Pro. I'd like to learn to use this NLE both on my Mac and also a PC that I'll be getting. Seems to be a solid program. However still having trouble with stuttery playback. Haven't figured this out yet.
3. I've purchase the Atomos Ninja Inferno along with 1 TB SSD. It should ease up my workflow. The Panansonic GH5 sure eats up through my batteries quickly as the Venus processing and the IBIS energy. Now I'm plugging into power and it is much more stable until the electricity cuts out. So I have 1 camera still running on dual battery power should the electricity cut out.

4. Also got a new focus puller for manual focus. It's super nice. Made by Lanparte. It's not the best but I didn't want to pay more than $500 just for a focus puller. Makes manual focusing more precise and more efficient.

5. Did some audio recordings last week using the Focusrite Scarlett 18i20. It's great but had some issues with the monitor outputs. Was able to find a work around but would like to do further testing so the monitors will work. I also need to purchase some mic sound shields (sound reflectors), XLR splitters, one-eared headsets for our next recordings. It's exciting to get our studio working to professional standards.

Images are the reflection of a person's heart. Seeing what I see in my mind is what I want to capture on my camera. Seeing the images you find on this site is but a faint reflection of who I am.
